Climb the watch tower

Shifting your focus to the region, you can probably expect to see several surfers trying to catch a wave close to the Groins, a group of finger jetties located just across from the tower. Some then drive to the south to enjoy Westport Light State Park or Westhaven State Park. Others prefer to use the 1.5-mile, wheelchair-accessible Westport Light Dune Trail, located at the base of the observation tower. As far south as the distant Grays Harbor Light Station, which can be seen to the south, an 8-foot-wide concrete road winds through the dune and grasses.

Take a Stroll down Westhaven Boardwalk

The length of the boardwalk on Westhaven is lined with numerous yachts in the marina and lively stores and restaurants. A breathtaking sight, day or night. The abundance of fish caught for the day is constantly being brought in and out by boats. Those on tour constantly photograph their catch to give you an idea of what is out there. A lovely walkway parallels the marina.
