Bliss At Baker Bay

My wife, I, our four kids and two of their spouses all came together for a mid-spring getaway. The house was very clean and nice and accessories for the kitchen and instructions for the house were very complete. The spotting telescope in the living room was a pleasure for tracking all the waterfowl, eagles, herons, and shipping traffic. All in all, a very nice experience. Weather was typical spring - alternating sun and light rain - but it didn't get in the way of exploring the area.

Our group of 9 friends spent a comfortable weekend here during the Fisher Poets gathering in Astoria. The home is clean, the beds were comfortable, there were plenty of towels, and the kitchen was fully stocked. We enjoyed the extra touches as well - binoculars to take in the view, plenty of boards games and books, and the hot tub! The location is great as well. There is a restaurant/bar across the street and a corner store within walking distance. We had an easy drive into Astoria, and visited nearby Fort Columbia and Cape Disappointment as well. We will definitely book this home again next year!

The house and grounds were wonderful, far exceeding our expectations. The weather was sub-optimal, but the beauty and comfort of the house more than made up for the rain.

This was a last minute trip and I was very lucky to find this gem of a property. The home is beautiful and well appointed. The fully fenced, masterfully manicured property was exceptional. We were torn between wanting to be outside looking at the water view off the massive back deck or wandering around the property looking at flowers, fruits and veggies just as much as we enjoyed the special touches found throughout the inside. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful home and property. So quiet and peaceful, we were all sad to go. Comfy beds, plenty of cookware/dishes, etc. Added to my list of places to revisit!

Such a beautiful home and property best management experience ever

Bliss at Baker Bay is a beautiful and relaxing home that offers plenty of space for everyone to relax, play and observe the natural beauty of the area. The large fenced grounds are filled with blooming bushes, and beautiful flowers. We spent a week enjoying the company of several friends. The back porch was big enough for all 6 to sit comfortably of us to enjoy the sunset over the Bay and watch a pair of eagles fish in the tidal pools. There are several excellent restaurants near by as well as ample kitchen equipment to fix your own meals. We took several day trips to gorgeous parks for hikes and picnics. It is a short drive to Astoria’s shops and art galleries and to shops on the peninsula. Lovely beaches are within a few minutes drive.The Craftsman style home was clean, comfortable and well appointed. As an added bonus, there is a coffee shop with delicious pastries and fine brews within walking distance! This was one of our best trips ever!!

We were staying in Chinook, my wife's hometown, for her father's memorial. Robbie's property was absolutely perfect to host our family and friends. Baker bay is so peaceful and you can sit on that porch all day, watching the birds and fishing boats coming in and out. The house is very private and comfortable.

Was very nicely restored & updated. Everday we would find something unique that we hadn't noticed earlier... We had everything we needed. Great time spent with family in a Beautiful location!!

Great kitchen - dinners every night with a view of the ocean at sunset. As advertised and comfortable place

My family all stayed at this beautiful home over Memorial Day weekend while we were in town for a baby shower. It seems like kind of a strange location as the drive-in goes through a boat shop/dock, but once you go through the gate you are in your own secluded garden paradise! Beautiful flowers and plants and an amazing view of the river/ocean. On a clear day you can see the Cape disappointment lighthouse, as well as plenty of birdlife. Tons of space inside and the fully fenced yard made it perfect for our dogs who love to wander and sniff. Definitely would stay here again, we had the best time!

This home is beautiful and enough room for the entire family, communication was excellent upon check in and Checkout. The location is perfect, to be able to enjoy both Long Beach and Astoria. Thank you for sharing your home.

Extremely well stocked for cooking, activities, games, books aplenty. 10 minutes drive from Cape Disappointment lighthouses, Astoria, Ilwaco, and Long Beach of course. Very private property with tons of fully fenced yard. Absolutely fabulous view of the water. Highly recommend for groups of 5 people or more.

The most beautiful place for a Washington vacation! Delightful gardens to walk in (and fun yard art), gorgeous water view (loved using the telescope to watch the big boats move through the Columbia), warm & inviting living areas, beautiful bedrooms (comfy beds), tons of amenities & fully equipped kitchen. I'll be back for more enjoyment and relaxation!

Wonderful home, great for a large family, was just 2 of us and our pups. Beautiful area with lots to do for a full weekend.

We had a fantastic time at Bliss at Baker Bay. The house was incredibly clean and very spacious. Plenty of room for our 3 teenagers to spread out even with a party of seven. The grounds are completely fenced, so it was a worry free place to let our dog run around. Close to Astoria and Cape Disappointment. Overall great place to stay.

We could not have been happier with every single aspect of this house. The view for coffee on the porch, the beds, the kitchen, the gardens....everything was perfect.

This is a historic home along the shore Bakers Bay. The tidal water changes were amazing. An amazing grounds, well maintained and beautifully landscaped. There is a large patio with fire pit to enjoy nightly bonfires.
The home is a historic preserved layout- decorated nicely. There are a few temporary fixes (hook latches on doors that do not close completely). Very spacious bedrooms (4 up and 1 down) and a well equipped kitchen.
We had a few little issues with immediate response from the property manager.

Our stay was perfect in every way. There were 10 of us and there was plenty of room for all. The property was clean and well maintained. Beautiful gardens!! Beautiful views!! The property managers were helpful and prompt getting info to us. Would highly recommend this property! Thank you for letting us share the Bliss!! Many wonderful memories

This home was perfect for our trip. There was plenty of space for our large group.the property and views were beautiful. We will definitely plan to stay there again .

The moment we walked through the door at Bliss at Baker Bay I knew we were going to have an amazing vacation. The house is a grand old home that has been lovingly restored and updated with great attention to detail and comfort. Our group of 8 guests, including our 9 month old grandson had plenty of room to spread out. The views from the house are expansive and so relaxing. We would definitely come back for another visit in the future.

It was like living inside a dog park! The pups had a much needed break from car rides and hotel stays on our road trip. This home gave us the chance to decompress worry free due to it’s well appointed state.

We rented Bliss at Baker Bay for our family Christmas Staycation and it was wonderful.
Great space for a large gathering.
The house was nicely kept and we felt right at home.
The owners and managers were very helpful with any questions that arose.
We got snow and it ended up being a White Christmas and the kids had snow much fun playing outside.
The views are amazing, too.
I would definetly recommend this property to others.

We traveled to the Washington/Oregon Coast for a fishing getaway with our adult children and granddaughter. The house was very clean and meet all of our needs and expectations. Loved the view from the front porch and front sitting room. There were so many things about this home that we enjoyed from it's beautiful, fully fenced grounds with strawberries, raspberries, cherry tomatoes, and lettuce to the homes proximity to the marina (walking distance for our 2 year old granddaughter). We will definitely be back!!
