Journey's End

Journey's End feels like a luxury cabin in the mountains within walking distance to the beach. What could be better? We had wind, rain, sun, a little bit of everything with a very comfortable, cozy home. We enjoyed our beach walks with our pups, meeting and entertaining our beach friends (in our beach home). Tree top views, the ocean and wonderful daylight throughout the house. We would highly recommend MyCovia's restaurant in Ocean Park and the Waterline Pub in Ilwaco for a fantastic dining experience. Truly a couple of hidden gems. We would definitely return and highly recommend to our non-beach friends.

Journey’s End is exactly as described. The house is homey and comfortable. A huge gas fireplace keeps the main living area and loft warm and cozy. We appreciated the finished garage when returning from the beach with wet and sandy clothes and the large sink in the utility room to clean beach-going items before going into the living area. The house is perfect for 7-8 people. We have stayed in several houses managed by Bloomer Estates and this is my favorite. As always Bloomer exceeds our expectations when it comes to property management.

What can I say about Journey's End. What a beautiful home and surrounding area. They are very honest in their description! Nice quiet area. If you want a peaceful get away. Where you can have a window open and hear the ocean anytime, look no further. It was rainy while we were there. We got back from our outing at the ocean and turned on the fireplace. It is so warm and cozy. I received very courteous and thoughtful texts from the rental company. The local grocery store Jack's is the go to spot. Reasonable prices and fresh oysters for a good deal. Great on the grill at the house! I can't wait to come back to the area and I hope the house will be available!

The kitchen was well lit and easy to navigate, complete with plenty of plateware, utensils, spices and ice. The beds were very comfortable, on the softer side, great for side/stomach sleepers. It had all the little touches: tissue boxes, lowlights on the stairs, easy outlets located on each nightstand, 3 different ways to make your coffee (drip, French press, Keurig), games, etc. And while this is a pet friendly home, there was no evidence of past pets! Management answered questions promptly, easy walk (10 minutes) to the beach or the little downtown area and the general store had everything you will need. As a frequent guest of rentals, this one ranks in my top 5 for being so well appointed.

This was a wonderful home, cozy and extremely clean. Beds were comfy and all we needed to cook meals in the kitchen was provided. Very nice to provide coffee pods and laundry detergent.

Great house for our family of 7 ranging from 11 to 80 including first floor bedroom and bath with walk in shower. Air mattress provided for loft for extra sleeping. Kitchen well stocked for cooking. Short walk to beach. Well managed.

The Journeys end house was great. Everything was just as described in the description, house was clean and worked well for our family and friends. Bloomers was responsive and helpful with any questions we had.

House was very clean & cozy.... The beach was kind of a long walk but loved getting the extra steps in each day...

Took one of our daughters here for her graduation trip. We had a great time relaxing and walking to the beach each day.

The house was very nice and comfortable. We had a very nice time. We wished that we were closer to the ocean. Kind of sad that we were so far from the waves.

The house was beautiful. The fireplace was awesome. it made it very homey on the cold and rainy days. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the kitchen gadgets. Everything was spotless! Beds were comfy. House was big and spacious.Correspondence was quick and informative and friendly. We'll be booking this home again!!I can't say enough great things. Well worth the price and the location.

Definitely recommend staying here! We had a fantastic weekend - and even though the weather was awful with the rain (to be expected), the home itself felt bright, warm, and cozy without feeling cooped up! The layout of the home made it easy to get privacy when needed and had wonderful communal space for games, work, and movies.

My friends and I rented the home the weekend of the Day of the Dink tournament at the Lighthouse Resort. The home was well stocked and very comfortable. We all had a wonderful stay.

Clean and as advertised. Would stay again.

Wonderful experience- was great place for our dog and our kids with loft area for playing plus decks and yard.

Very nice place with everything we needed included. Close to the beach and stores. Lots of parks and hiking opportunities. We really had fun with no problems. As has been mentioned a few times already the walk to the beach is more than advertised.

Everything was super well cleaned. It felt like a deep clean before our visit and that makes a big difference in the quality of the stay. The maintenance staff is on point! Also it was an amazing location, well stocked kitchen, and just a very comfortable place to stay. Will be back.

Beautiful home! Super comfortable. The home has everything we needed and then some. Lots of kitchen supplies and no shortage of towels, storage, or space. Quiet neighborhood.You can see the ocean from the upstairs deck over the treetops and upstairs out of the great room window. The waves are audible when sitting outside. It is a bit of a walk to actually get to the sand from the house. I recommend driving a few streets over and parking at the beach access there to get to the sand quickly. Beautiful beach and not at all crowded.

It was lovely to get away and stay here in this comfortable, lovely home. Only complaint is that the neighbors decided to run 2 chainsaws all day long for an entire day. Other than that it was wonderful. Thank you!

We loved our stay at Journey's End. It is a lovely home with plenty of comforts. The kitchen is very well stocked. The home was very clean upon our arrival. Bloomer Estates was very responsive and helpful. The furniture was comfortable, though the mattresses were too soft for our preference. The decor is modern and well done. The beach is an easy 5 minute stroll away from the home. The home feels very cozy and private, surrounded by beautiful trees and greenery. We liked that it wasn't in a downtown location, but rather secluded and quiet. Can't wait until we can come stay here again.

We have stayed at Journey's End several times over the last few years. It's our favorite spot on the peninsula. The design is perfect for three couples and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need to feel at home.

Amazing home within a short walk to the beach. Plenty of bed linens and the kitchen was fully stocked as far as utensils and serving dishes. Very clean and spacious and the back porch is perfect for morning coffee.

Beautiful home and very nicely appointed. Our dog loved the dual decks and having the tv upstairs made the fireplace the focal point. Great location—easy walk to beach or the town of Ocean Park.

We had a wonderful stay here! The home was beautiful and well maintained. The walk to the beach was short and easy and you have a view of the water from the back deck. The house was in a nice, quiet location, but was still just a short distance from restaurants. This was one of my all time favorite stays and I am looking forward to coming back!

Spacious home with awesome bright double height living spaces perfect for family holiday. Access to beach within a few minutes’ walk down local road to dune path. Loved our winter stay.
