Managed by Bloomer Estates Vacation Rentals on the Washington Coast, The Looney Bin is the perfect beach cabin for groups of up to 4 people. Located in a quiet residential area with only a few neighbors, this beach home is just a short five-minute walk to the beach. The cabin has an open floor plan with a queen bed, living room, kitchen, and seating area in one room and a private bedroom with a queen bed. The two rooms share a bathroom with a walk-in shower and a combination washer/dryer.
Enjoy the sunsets or a summer barbecue on the front deck with plenty of seating for up to 6, or sit around the fire pit in the fenced backyard.
Looney Bin is located a few minutes drive to Ocean Park: a quaint one-stoplight town founded in 1884. Ocean Park has a lot to offer: Adelaide's café and bookstore are in a two-story historic building and serves lattes and ice cream by the scoop.
Across the street from Adelaides are Bay Ave Art Gallery and the Rusty Spur-a bar and grill with incredible fish and chips. Jack's Country department store stocks over 250,000 different items, including groceries, and is a must-stop for all visitors.
There is also a burger joint, antique store, pharmacy, large grocery store, and pool hall/tavern. Historic Oysterville is one mile from Ocean Park.

Enjoyed our second stay at Looney Bin. Love the quiet location north of North Beach and 5 min. from Ocean Park. Easy access to beach. Cabin is cozy and just right for 2-4 people. Kitchen has everything needed. Recommendations by Bloomer Estates very helpful.

The Looney Bin was the perfect small home for me and my son to stay in during our 5-day annual fishing trip to Ilwaco with Sea Breeze Charters. This small home was just what we needed. My recommendations would be to put some lubrication on the sliding glass door and add a sliding screen feature to keep bugs out when getting fresh air. Bloomer staff are ALWAYS the best at helping you find the perfect place in the Long Beach vicinity! Huge kudos to Robbie and Dabra!

Cabin is just right for 2. Location was a bonus - north of Long Beach on quiet lane with short walk to the beach. Large windows and sliding glass doors create a warm atmosphere. Loved the deck. Guest book with pictures of original cabin added to the unique features. We will book again.

My husband & I decided to rent a vacation home instead of a motel and we chose the Looney Bin managed by Bloomer Estates Rentals. We're glad we did. The Looney Bin is a quiet, cozy little house nestled in trees right off the Pacific Hwy. The wood burning stove made the cabin very warm and comfortable. The directions given at the time of reservations were very precise and helpful. The house is located between Long Beach & Ocean Park where it was a short drive to either town to have meals, shop or have access to the beach. It rained the entire 4 days so we spent most of our time indoors or driving around the peninsula. The locals are very nice and made us feel welcome. We love Long Beach and will continue to vacation over there. Someday, we would like to purchase a home and retire to the beach.

The cabin was perfect for me. Nice and clean! I invited a couple of friends to visit while there. The accommodations were perfect for us. The cabin is just a short walk to the shore and was very quiet. I was disappointed that there was no WiFi in the house, but was able to drive to the library to find a connection. Otherwise things were perfect for me. I may decide to book again next fall.

The building and grounds were all we could anticipate. Location was good for this trip. It was difficult to locate the property. Describing it as being on Loon Lane, located apx 150 feet north of 210th Place (and adding a couple of photos of the drive entry) would have made locating the property simple. Removing a typographical error in the direction (8 Mile Market) would help, too. Kathy was great! She did all she could to make our stay a 5 out of 5 visit.
