Come enjoy the best summer month on the Long Beach peninsula with Friday evening Art Walks, the Friday and Saturday morning farmers market, a day trip to Raymond for the annual Willapa Music Festival, and the Oyster and Jazz Festival in Oysterville, Washington. Enjoy perusing award-winning acrylic paintings, watercolors, hand-made exquisite jewelry, and sculptures. Find a local treasure that will last a lifetime. Wake up early, grab a freshly brewed coffee, latte, or mocha at one of our local java joints and head out to the Ilwaco Saturday market by opening time at 10:00 AM.  Amble along the parkway finding local handiworks, enjoy the boats coming and going, and try the local cuisine at the many different foods stands.

Indulge in taste and sound at this year's Jazz and Oyster Festival. Delectable Willapa bay oysters farmed just thousands of feet from shore in the last utterly untouched estuary in the lower 48. Pull up a camping chair and take in the mesmerizing sound of many local jazz artists from, Mel Brown B# QuartetEllen WhyteRanger, and the “Re-Arrangers”; Seattle’s “Gypsy Jazz” band, and kicking things off will be our very own, Ilwaco High Jazz Band. So come join us for great food and great music this August.

This is a beautiful and fun event held in Oysterville annually for over five years. Enjoy some of the best jazz musicians of the Pacific Northwest while enjoying delicious foods and beverages from some of the local seafood restaurants. So come dance your heart out and enjoy nine outstanding Blues & R&B performers strut their stuff at the Port of Peninsula!
